Enough Graphics!!! I'll Tell you What I Do and Enjoy, with my own words. ::::)

As you might have already seen, I love dark music, and Homestuck.

But I also enjoy doing things like Drawing, Painting, Crafting, Photography, Coding, Astrology Readings, and investigating about the things I like, and sharing my knowledge with those who are eager to know it. Overall, I am someone who likes to hoard facts and truths. And to create something that makes people wonder how I have come out with such a creation...

My Favourite Albums

... and brief explainations on why they're my favourites.

Psycho Magnet by London After Midnight: This one is my favourite LAM album, as it mixes Darkwave w/Industrial rock. Dark lyrics and obscure atmospheres with synthetisers and abrasive sounds. I also feel deeply identified, projected, connected to many of the songs, like Where Good Girls Go To Die, Carry On (Screaming), Psycho Magnet... basically all the album haha. I gave them a meaning during trying times of my young teenage lyfe.

My Bloody Valentine by Gille'Loves: Gille'Loves/Fiction, had a very different and peculiar sound, compared to its contemporaries. It has a gloomy, melancholic and drum-machine-heavy sound/atmosphere, and most of the songs' lyrics are about Love, Sadness, Yearning, . I feel seen by this album. Luci'fer Sama is also like me, a melancholic soul who yearns for love and has a sickly obsession with vampires. I love their work.

Horse Rotorvator by Coil: I have been captivated by the sounds and obscure references of this duo of crazy geniuses. It's chaotic, martial at times, abrasive, even sad. And it makes me feel understood too. And to know all of that was able to be produced in 1986 no less! Impressive. The samples they used rre interesssting too... and the references; I mean how are you going to reference Pasolini!? Damn!

The Downward Spiral by NIN: A n Ars "Fav Albums" list can't lack this very essential album to my life. It has been there for me since I developed my "Self". It introduced me to Industrial music. It is chaotic, angry, noisy, abrasive, and sullen. A very dark concept album about a man self-destructing his life. I don't know if it's a good thing that this album was (and still is) my comfort album for when things go bad, since I was 13 .

Slow, Deep and Hard by Type O-: Another essential album from my lyfe that has seen me grow. It's my favourite because the Thrash influences are still lingering out there. And also, how angry it is. Peter really was angry bc of the breakup huh? And the synthetiser use is spectacular. I did have relationship issues, which may have influenced my opinion on the album (positively). It's another of my go-to albums when I just can't with the bullshit.

Closer by Joy Division: I have the knack for absolutely depressing, soul-crushing albums, don't I? But Yeah... This one has a special place in my heart for comforting me during the most blue moments of my lyfe, where I felt alone, that nobody cared about me, and even with Suicidal Ideations. Ian Curtis had such a way with words and singing.... I'll always mourn his death. It is the same album with Lyrics like Isolation:

"Mother, I tried please believe me

I'm doing the best that I can

I'm ashamed of the things I've been put through

I'm ashamed of the person I am"

August 5th, 2026: I might add more, like 2 more when I decide what other album I shall put here. But for now, these were the 6 albums I consider my Favourites.
